Description

Indications

Aristocort C Cream is indicated for addressing corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergies, and rash.

Aristocort C Cream is a corticosteroid of medium to strong potency. While its precise mechanism of action remains unclear, it is believed to mitigate swelling, itching, and redness associated with the mentioned conditions.

Uses and Dosage

Before using Aristocort C Cream and with every prescription refill, thoroughly review the accompanying medication guide and patient information leaflet. For questions and concerns, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Aristocort C Cream is indicated for skin use only; however, it should not be used in the face, groin, or underarms unless instructed by the doctor.

Typically, this cream is applied to the affected skin area two to three times daily.

To properly apply Aristocort C Cream, follow these steps:

  1. Begin by washing and drying your hands thoroughly.
  2. Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
  3. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and gently massage it in as per your doctor’s instructions.
  4. After applying the cream, wash your hands unless you are using the cream to treat your hands.

Refrain from using any coverings, bandages, or wraps on the treated area unless your doctor specifically instructed to do so.

Avoid using plastic pants or tight-fitting diapers when tending to the diaper area.

Do not apply this cream if there is an infection or open sore in the treatment area.

When applying this cream near the eyes, exercise caution to prevent accidental contact, as it could exacerbate or lead to glaucoma. Likewise, avoid contact with the nose or mouth. In the event of contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse thoroughly with ample water.

For the best results, use Aristocort C Cream exactly as directed. Refrain from exceeding the prescribed amount or prolonging its usage beyond the recommended period.
