Drug Description

Indications 

Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength is a topical pain reliever indicated for the temporary relief of aches and pains linked with arthritis, rheumatism, muscle strains, sprains, backaches, and neck aches. 

Uses and Dosage 

Before using Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength for the first time and with each refill, carefully read and adhere to the instructions on its packaging. For any questions, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist. 

Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or genital area. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. 

Typically, this cream is applied 3 to 4 times daily to the affected area as needed or per your doctor’s instructions if they have recommended it. 

To properly apply this cream: 

  1. Begin by washing your hands. 
  2. Clean and dry the affected area. 
  3. Apply a generous amount of the cream to the affected skin, gently massaging it in. 
  4. Wash your hands after application unless they are part of the treated area. 

Do not apply Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength on damaged or irritated skin. 

Avoid using bandages or tightly wrapping the treated area, and refrain from applying heat, as it may increase the risk of side effects. 

Stop using Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength if a rash or irritation arises, if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, if symptoms recur, or if the condition worsens. 

Side Effects 

Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength generally does not induce side effects. However, discontinue its use and promptly notify your doctor if you encounter severe side effects, including: 

  • Blistering, peeling, redness, or irritation at the application site 
  • Nausea 
  • Vomiting 
  • Ringing in the ears 

Allergic Reactions 

Although a severe allergic reaction to Myoflex Cream Maximum Strength is uncommon, seek immediate medical attention if you manifest signs of an allergic reaction, such as: 

  • Rash 
  • Itching or swelling (particularly of the face/tongue/throat) 
  • Severe dizziness 
  • Breathing difficulty
