Description

Indications

Muro 128 Suspension is used to temporarily relieve corneal edema (swelling of the front surface of the eye) due to surgery, infection, trauma, or other eye conditions.

As a hypertonicity agent, Muro 128 Suspension works by extracting excess fluid from the cornea, effectively reducing swelling.

Uses and Dosage

Muro 128 Suspension should only be used under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Before the initial use, and each time you get a refill, read and follow the instructions provided on its packaging. For questions or concerns, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Muro 128 Suspension is usually administered as 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 3 or 4 hours or as directed by your doctor.

Before use, visually inspect the suspension. If it changes color or becomes cloudy, refrain from using it.

To properly apply this eye suspension:

  1. Begin by washing your hands.
    • Avoid contamination by refraining from touching the dropper tip or allowing it to make contact with your eye or any other surface.
  2. Tilt your head back, look upward, and pull down the lower eyelid to create a pouch.
  3. Directly position the dropper over your eye and dispense 1 drop into the pouch.
  4. Release the eyelid, gently close your eyes, and apply light pressure near the nose for 1 to 2 minutes to prevent medication drainage.
    • Refrain from blinking or rubbing your eyes.
  5. Wipe away any excess solution around the eye with a tissue and wash your hands to remove any medicine residue.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 if more than 1 drop is required and for the other eye if instructed.
  7. Do not rinse the dropper, and always replace the cap after use.

Seek medical help promptly if your condition worsens, persists for more than 3 days, or if you suspect a serious medical issue while using Muro 128 Suspension.
