Description

Indications

Clarinex Syrup is indicated for alleviating allergy symptoms, including sneezing, watery eyes, itching, and runny nose, as well as for managing chronic skin reactions, such as hives and itching.

As an antihistamine, Clarinex Syrup works by inhibiting the production of histamine, a natural substance produced by the body in response to allergic reactions.

Uses and Dosage

Before starting treatment with Clarinex Syrup and with every prescription refill, meticulously review the provided medication guide and patient information leaflet. If you have any questions or concerns, seek guidance from your doctor or pharmacist.

The prescribed dosage of this medication is determined based on the patient’s age, medical condition, and response to the treatment.

Typically, Clarinex Syrup is taken once a day as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food intake.

Use a measuring device, such as a dropper or oral syringe, to precisely measure the required dosage, not a household spoon.

For optimal results, adhere to the prescribed instructions for Clarinex Syrup. Do not modify the recommended dosage, frequency, or duration of intake without consulting your doctor.

Cautions

Before taking Clarinex Syrup, inform your doctor if you have any known allergies, particularly to desloratadine, loratadine, or any of this syrup’s inactive ingredients.

To ensure Clarinex Syrup is safe for you, disclose to your doctor your medical background, especially if you have a history of kidney or liver disease.

To mitigate the possibility of drug interactions with Clarinex Syrup, disclose all current and recent use of medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements, to your healthcare providers.

Desloratadine closely resembles loratadine. Refrain from using medications that contain loratadine while using Clarinex Syrup.
