Drug Description

Indications

Tylenol Regular is indicated for the temporary reduction of fever and the temporary relief of minor aches and pains stemming from conditions such as headache, muscular aches, backache, minor arthritis pain, common cold, toothache, premenstrual and menstrual cramps.

Tylenol Regular is categorized as an analgesic and antipyretic medication. It works by impeding the production of prostaglandin, a naturally occurring substance that triggers inflammation, thereby relieving pain. Moreover, it acts on the hypothalamus area of the brain responsible for temperature regulation, effectively reducing fever.

Uses and Dosage

Before taking Tylenol Regular and every time you get a refill, carefully review its medication guide and patient information leaflet. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist.

Tylenol Regular is recommended to be taken as soon as pain begins, regardless of food intake. Dosage may vary per individual, do not take more than directed.

  • For individuals aged 12 and above:
