Note that this medication falls within the antibiotic class. In the context of rosacea therapy, metronidazole is presumed to exert its therapeutic effect by reducing the extent of inflammatory processes. Uses and Dosage 

Utilize this medication exclusively for dermal application. Before and after administering this treatment, ensure thoroughly washing and drying your hands. Prepare the target treatment area by cleansing and drying it. After a 15-minute interval, apply a delicate, prescribed layer of the medication following your physician’s instructions, typically once or twice daily. Allow for 5 minutes before using any cosmetic products. 

Exercise caution when applying this medication near the ocular region unless otherwise instructed by your healthcare provider. Using this medication close to the eyes may lead to excessive lacrimation or eye-watering. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and in the event of accidental contact, promptly rinse the eyes with copious amounts of cool water.

Side Effects 

Potential adverse reactions to this medication encompass:
