Drug Description

Indications 

Tempra Syrup Cherry is used to lower fever and provide temporary relief from mild to moderate aches and pains associated with the common cold, flu, and immunization in children aged 2-5 years old. 

Classified as an analgesic and antipyretic medication, Tempra Syrup Cherry functions by modifying pain perception and reducing body temperature. 

Uses and Dosage 

Before administering Tempra Syrup Cherry to your child for the first time and each time you get a refill, carefully review the instructions on its packaging. If you have any uncertainties or questions, seek guidance from your doctor or pharmacist. 

Refer to the illustrated chart on the packaging to determine the correct dose for your child. Ideally, use the weight-based dosage; if unsure of your child’s weight, follow the age guidelines provided. 

Typically, Tempra Syrup Cherry is administered orally every 4-6 hours. Measure the dose accurately using the dosing cup provided. 

Do not exceed 5 doses within 24 hours or surpass the recommended dose to prevent the risk of severe or potentially fatal liver damage in your child. 

If your child’s pain persists for over 5 days or their fever lasts more than 3 days, discontinue giving Tempra Syrup Cherry and consult a doctor for further guidance. 

Side Effects
