Drug Description

Indications

Benzagel Wash is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

As an antibacterial agent, Benzagel Wash works in two ways. Firstly, it eradicates acne-causing bacteria and clears pores by eliminating dead skin cells. Secondly, it oxygenates the skin, neutralizing the ability of Propionibacterium acne bacteria to induce redness and inflammation in acne lesions.

Uses and Dosage

Before using Benzagel Wash and every time you get a refill, carefully review the packaging and patient information leaflet available. Consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you have any inquiries or concerns.

Benzagel Wash is for topical use only. Refrain contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, and mucous membranes.

To determine if Benzagel Wash is suitable for you, conduct an allergy test by applying a small amount to one or two minor acne-affected areas for three days. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop using the product immediately and seek medical help (refer to the Side Effects section for signs of an allergic reaction). If no allergic reaction occurs, you may proceed with product usage.

Benzagel Wash is typically initiated with a once-daily application and can be escalated to two or three times daily if necessary. If dryness or peeling occurs, the application may be reduced to once a day or every other day.

To properly use Benzagel Wash:

  1. Thoroughly shake the product before application.
  2. Cleanse the face with Benzagel Acne Wash and warm water, gently rubbing in.
  3. Rinse thoroughly after 20 to 30 seconds.
  4. Pat dry using a clean towel.

Avoid applying Benzagel Wash to open wounds, sunburned, windburned, dry, or irritated skin, and areas with eczema. Wait until these conditions have fully healed before starting to use this product.

For maximum efficacy, strictly adhere to the usage guidelines specified on the Benzagel Wash packaging or as prescribed by your doctor.

If symptoms persist or worsen, or if you suspect a significant medical concern, promptly seek medical assistance.
