Visine Allergy is indicated for the temporary relief of itchy, red eyes triggered by pollen, ragweed, grass, or animal hair and dander.
Visine Allergy utilizes two active ingredients: naphazoline and pheniramine maleate.

Uses and Dosage

Typically, 1 to 2 drops of Visine Allergy are instilled in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily.

Refrain from touching or allowing the dropper tip to touch your eye to minimize the risk of infection and potential severe vision impairments.
To properly use Visine Allergy, follow these steps:
- Tilt your head backward, gaze upward, and pull down the lower eyelid to create a pocket.
- Position the dropper directly above the eye and administer one drop into the pocket made.
- Look downward and gently close your eyes while pressing your finger to the inner corner of the eye for 1 to 2 minutes. This will prevent the medication from draining out.
- Repeat steps 1-3 if your prescribed dose involves more than one drop and follow the same procedure for the other eye if instructed.
- Do not rinse the dropper; securely replace the dropper cap after each use.
Avoid using Visine Allergy continuously for more than 3 to 4 days. If your condition persists or worsens beyond 72 hours or you suspect a severe medical issue, discontinue use, and seek immediate medical assistance.
Excessive use of Visine Allergy may lead to heightened eye redness (rebound effect when the drug loses effectiveness). In such cases, inform your healthcare provider.
