Description

Indications

Analpram HC Lotion is indicated for the relief of itching and inflammation resulting from allergic reactions, eczema, minor burns, insect bites, or various skin conditions.

Analpram HC Lotion is a combination of two medications: Hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid that mitigates inflammation by inhibiting chemical actions in the body, and pramoxine, an anesthetic or numbing agent that disrupts pain signals sent from nerves to the brain.

Uses and Dosage

Before using Analpram HC Lotion and with every prescription refill, thoroughly review the accompanying medication guide and patient information leaflet. Seek guidance from your doctor or pharmacist for any inquiries or uncertainties.

Analpram HC Lotion is for topical use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, ears, or mouth; in the event of contact, immediately flush the affected area with abundant water.

Do not apply this lotion to inflamed skin regions, deep puncture wounds, or raw or blistered skin, such as severe burns or abrasions.

Avoid applying this lotion to areas with skin folds or thin skin unless your doctor instructs.

Typically, this lotion is applied to the affected area every 6-8 hours, depending on the severity of the condition.

To properly apply Analpram HC Lotion:

  1. Begin by washing your hands thoroughly before using the lotion.
  2. Clean and dry the affected area on your skin.
  3. Apply a small amount of the lotion to the affected area and gently massage it into the skin.
  4. After applying the lotion, remember to wash your hands unless you are using it to treat a hand condition.

Avoid covering the treated skin area unless specifically instructed by your doctor, as doing so may enhance drug absorption and potentially result in undesired side effects.

To attain optimal results, follow the precise guidelines for applying Analpram HC Lotion consistently at the same time each day. Refrain from exceeding the prescribed amount or frequency, and do not prolong its usage beyond your doctor’s recommendation.

Contact your doctor if your symptoms persist, worsen, or observe signs of infection (such as redness, swelling, or oozing) while using Analpram HC Lotion, as it is ineffective for treating bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections.
