Drug Description

Indications

Clindagel is a prescribed topical medication for the treatment of acne.

As a lincomycin antibiotic, Clindagel impedes bacterial growth and reduces inflammation responsible for acne.

Uses and Dosage

Before using Clindagel and with each prescription refill, thoroughly review its medication guide and patient information leaflet. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for any inquiries or uncertainties.

Clindagel is for topical application only and should not be ingested.

Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, or any broken skin. In case of accidental contact, thoroughly rinse the affected area with ample cool water.

Typically, Clindagel is applied to the affected area once daily as prescribed by the doctor.

To properly use this gel:

  1. Begin by cleaning and drying the affected area.
  2. Apply a thin layer of Clindagel to the skin where acne lesions are present.
  3. Ensure that the entire affected area is lightly covered with the medication.
  4. Wash hands after each application.
  5. Repeat this process daily for optimal results.

Adhere to the prescribed instructions for Clindagel. Avoid excess application or frequency beyond what is directed by your doctor.

Notify your physician if your condition does not improve or worsens.
