Drug Description

Florastor is a distinctive daily probiotic supplement containing saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745, a proprietary yeast-based probiotic that enhances digestive balance and distinctly boosts immune function from bacterial-based probiotics.

Florastor can be used to restore healthy bacteria in the gut, treat diarrhea caused by antibiotics, and prevent vaginal yeast infections after taking antibiotics.

The mechanism of action of Florastor involves eliminating harmful bacteria and promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria to restore the natural flora and digestive balance.

Florastor also stimulates the production of Immunoglobulin A (IgA), the primary antibody in the digestive tract responsible for fighting infections to boost the immune system.
