Drug Description

Indications 

Eucrisa (crisaborole) ointment, with a concentration of 2%, is a pharmaceutical product designed as a phosphodiesterase four inhibitor, specifically formulated for topical administration. When applied externally to the affected areas, this medication is explicitly indicated for managing mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in patients aged two years and above. 

Uses and Dosage 

Eucrisa is specifically recommended for the topical treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in adult and pediatric patients, including those as young as three months old. Applying a thin layer of Eucrisa to the affected areas should be done twice daily. Once the desired clinical effect has been achieved, consider reducing the application frequency to once daily. 

Eucrisa is intended solely for topical use and should not be used in the eyes, mouth, or vagina. 

Side Effects
