Drug Description

Indications

Adapalene is a medication used to treat acne by reducing the number and severity of acne and promoting the healing of existing pimples. It belongs to a class of drugs called retinoids, which work by influencing cell growth, reducing swelling, and alleviating inflammation.

Uses and Dosage

Instructions for the application of Differin Cream:

  1. Apply Differin Cream to the affected areas of acne once daily, preferably before going to bed, and after washing the skin.
  2. Use a thin layer of the cream to avoid the eye and lip areas (refer to Precautions).
  3. Before applying the cream, make sure that the acne-affected areas are dry.
  4. In cases where this drug is necessary to reduce the frequency of application or temporarily discontinue treatment, the frequency of application can be resumed or therapy can be restarted once the patient can tolerate the treatment again.
  5. If patients use cosmetics, you must choose non-comedogenic and non-astringent products.
  6. Please note that the safety and effectiveness of Differin Cream have not been studied in neonates and young children.
