Indications 

Quadriderm Cream is a combination medication used for the treatment and prevention of various skin conditions. It can be used to manage symptoms of eczema and dermatitis, such as itching, oozing, and inflammation. It contains active substances such as beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and neomycin. 

Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid that works by blocking the synthesis of a natural substance called prostaglandin. Prostaglandin is responsible for causing inflammation, itching, swelling, and redness. By inhibiting its production, beclomethasone helps reduce these symptoms. Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent. It works by preventing the formation of a fungal cell wall component called ergostero. Without ergosterol, the fungal cells are unable to maintain their integrity and function properly. This leads to the inhibition of fungal growth and the treatment of fungal infections. Neomycin is an antibiotic agent that is effective against a wide range of bacteria. It works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of bacteria by interfering with their protein synthesis. 

Use and Dosage 

To use Quadriderm Cream, follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional. Here is a general guideline for using Quadriderm Cream: 

1. Clean and dry the affected area: Before applying Quadriderm Cream, make sure the affected area is clean and dry. Gently wash the area with mild soap and water, and pat it dry with a clean towel. 
2. Apply a thin layer: Take a small amount of Quadriderm Cream and apply a thin layer to cover the affected area. Rub it gently into the skin until it is absorbed. 
3. Wash your hands: After applying the cream, wash your hands thoroughly to remove any residual cream and prevent it from spreading to other areas. 
4. Frequency of application: The frequency of application will depend on the specific instructions provided by your healthcare professional. Generally, Quadriderm Cream is applied two to three times a day. Follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. 
5. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes: Avoid applying Quadriderm Cream near the eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. 
6. Do not cover the cream with airtight dressings: Unless specifically instructed by your healthcare professional, avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings such as bandages or plastic wrap. This can increase the absorption of the medication and may lead to unwanted side effects. 

Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your healthcare professional, even if symptoms improve. Stopping the medication prematurely may result in the return of symptoms or incomplete resolution of the condition. • Allergic reactions: Individuals with a known allergy to any of the active ingredients in Quadriderm Cream should avoid using it. Allergic reactions may include skin rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. 
• Eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes: Quadriderm Cream should not be used near the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, it should be rinsed thoroughly with water.
