Drug Description

Indications

Soluver is a topical preparation that contains salicylic acid. It is primarily used for the treatment and removal of warts. It can be indicated in the treatment of various skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, calluses, corns, keratosis pilaris, and warts.

Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent, which helps to soften and remove the outer layer of the skin. Salicylic acid works by breaking down the protein keratin, which helps to exfoliate and remove the affected skin cells.

Use and Dosage

Soluver should be applied directly to the affected area, using the applicator provided or a cotton swab. Apply one drop directly to the wart, let it dry for 5 minutes. Once-a-day treatment is all it takes.

To use the cream for warts, first, you need to apply it directly to the wart. Follow the recommended dosage. Before the application, you can thin down the wart with a pumice stone or nail file until all the white, dead skin is removed without causing discomfort or pain. This dead skin removal is only to help the medication work well, and you should not try to rub the wart or callus off. Then, you can apply a few drops or a small amount of cream to cover the wart fully. You can repeat the application for up to 12 weeks or until the wart is removed. However, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of Soluver cream, consult a healthcare professional.

The length of time Soluver should be used may vary depending on the severity of the skin condition being treated. Continue using Soluver as directed until the affected skin is completely healed and the abnormal skin cells have been shed.
