Description

Indications

Xyzal is a potent antihistamine that inhibits the physiological effects of histamine, a natural chemical in the body that can produce symptoms such as hives or a runny nose.

Xyzal is indicated for the treatment of perennial allergy symptoms in children aged six months and older.

Xyzal is indicated for the treatment of chronic urticaria-induced itching and swelling in adults and children aged six months and older.

Uses and Dosage

To ensure the safe and effective use of Xyzal, follow the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines provided by your doctor. Please read and follow all instructions on the prescription label and medication guides carefully.

When administering Xyzal to children, the dose is determined by the child’s age. Please follow your doctor’s dosing instructions accurately to avoid any complications.

Do not exceed the prescribed dose of Xyzal when administering to a child, as their body may absorb twice as much of the same dose size as an adult. Taking more than the recommended dose will not increase the medication’s effectiveness and may cause severe drowsiness.

Xyzal is typically taken in the evening, with or without food.
