Drug Description

Indications

Tiger Balm Regular is used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion, blocked nose, and minor muscle and joint aches, such as those associated with simple backache, arthritis, bruises, strains, and sprains

Tiger Balm Regular features two analgesics: camphor, and menthol. Camphor promotes skin surface blood flow, inducing a warming sensation that alleviates pain and stiffness. The combined action of camphor and menthol may enhance muscle blood circulation, potentially expediting healing and reducing inflammation.

Furthermore, camphor serves as a gentle expectorant, nasal decongestant, and cough suppressant. While menthol aids in soothing irritated nasal passages and relieving congestion.

Uses and Dosage

Thoroughly read the information and instructions on Tiger Balm Regular packaging before initial use and with each refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist for guidance.

Tiger Balm Regular is intended for external use only. Avoid direct application to eyes, mucous membranes, open wounds, or damaged/irritated skin.

Tiger Balm can be applied to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily.

  • To soothe sore muscles, rub the balm well on the affected area
  • To relieve nasal congestion, apply the balm on the chest, shoulders, or neck to inhale herbal vapors safely
  • To alleviate neck pain and headaches, massage the balm onto tense muscles for complete muscle relaxation

Avoid bandaging or wrapping the treated area, and refrain from using a heating pad.

Moreover, allow at least 1 hour before bathing or 30 minutes after bathing before applying the balm.

During the initial application, test the balm on a small skin area for any adverse reactions. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs and observe for more than 7 days.

If persistent or recurring pain persists after 7 days, consult a medical professional.
