Description

Indications

Carnitor is a dietary supplement utilized to prevent and treat deficient carnitine levels in the bloodstream. Derived from meat and dairy products, carnitine aids in the metabolism of long-chain fatty acids, enabling the body to produce energy and maintain overall well-being.

Carnitor may be prescribed for treating primary systemic carnitine deficiency or for the acute and chronic treatment of patients with an inborn error of metabolism resulting in secondary carnitine deficiency.

Uses and Dosage

Before taking Carnitor and with each prescription refill, thoroughly review its medication guide and patient information leaflet. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for any questions or clarifications.

Carnitor dosage may vary per individual based on their medical condition and response to the treatment. For children, weight is also taken into account.

Typically, Carnitor is taken at even intervals of every 3 to 4 hours, ideally accompanied by a meal or consumed within 30 minutes following a meal.

Take Carnitor regularly around the same time(s) daily to achieve optimal results. Refrain from exceeding the recommended dosage or frequency of intake without consulting your physician.

Seek immediate medical assistance if your condition persists, worsens, or if you suspect a significant medical issue.
