Continue taking low-dose aspirin, as your doctor directs, for specific medical purposes like preventing heart attacks or strokes (typically 81-162 milligrams daily). Seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist if you are using aspirin for any other reason. 

Ensure to review all the labels of your medications, including allergy or cough-and-cold products, as they may contain drowsiness-inducing ingredients. Seek guidance from your pharmacist regarding the safe use of such products, particularly if you are taking:

However, experiencing a seizure during pregnancy can be detrimental to both the mother and the baby. 

If you are not currently pregnant, use a reliable birth control methods while taking Depakene Oral Solution to avoid pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you initiate or discontinue the use of estrogen-based hormonal contraceptives such as birth control pills, injections, implants, skin patches, or vaginal rings. The interaction may compromise valproic acid’s seizure-preventing capabilities with estrogen.
