Drug Description

Genteal Artificial Tears Gel is used to relieve eye dryness, discomfort caused by minor irritations, wind, or sun exposure, and serves as a protectant against further irritation.

As an eye lubricant, Genteal Artificial Tears Gel works by maintaining eye moisture, safeguarding against injury and infection, and alleviating dry eye symptoms, including burning, itching, and the sensation of foreign particles in the eye.

Uses and Dosage

Carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided on the Genteal Artificial Tears Gel packaging. Should you have any inquiries, do not hesitate to consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Genteal Artificial Tears Gel is most effective when used at night. Administer 1-2 drops to the affected eye(s) as needed, or as directed by your doctor if they have recommended this product.

Before applying the gel, inspect its color; refrain from use if there is a change in color or if it becomes cloudy.

To administer this eye gel properly, follow these steps:

  1. Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.
  2. Hold the tube between your thumb and forefinger, positioning it close to your eyelid without touching the eye or any surfaces.
  3. Tilt your head backward and use your index finger to pull down the lower lid, creating a pocket.
  4. Squeeze 1-2 drops of the gel into the pocket formed by the lower eyelid.
  5. Release your index finger, close your eye, and gently roll your eye in all directions to distribute the medication.
  6. Use a clean tissue to blot away any excess ointment from around the eye.

Discontinue the use of Genteal Artificial Tears Gel and consult your doctor if you encounter eye pain, changes in vision, prolonged redness or irritation, or if the condition worsens or persists beyond 72 hours.
