Indications 

Refresh Plus is an ophthalmic medication used to temporarily ease burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dry eyes, wind, or sun exposure. It may be used as well as a protective measure to prevent additional irritation. 

Furthermore, Refresh Plus is suitable for sensitive eyes and can provide relief from dryness and discomfort following LASIK or other eye procedures. 

With its preservative-free formula, Refresh Plus acts like the natural tears, providing instant lubrication and moisture for the eyes. 

Uses and Dosage 

Before using Refresh Plus for the first time and with each refill, carefully read and adhere to the instructions on its packaging. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for guidance if you have any questions or concerns. 

Refresh Plus is available in single-use vials. Before use, visually examine the solution’s color; if there is any change, refrain from using it. 

Typically, this eye medication is applied to the affected eyes in 1 to 2 drops as needed or as instructed by your recommending doctor. 

To properly apply a dose of Refresh Plus: 

1. Start by washing your hands.  
2. Open the single-use dropper by twisting and pulling the tab. 
   • Be careful not to touch the tip of the dropper or allow it to come into contact with the eye or any surfaces to avoid contamination. 
3. Tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. 
4. Position the dropper over the eye and dispense 1 or 2 drops as needed.  
5. Close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes while looking down, then apply gentle pressure near the nose to prevent the solution from draining away.  
6. Dispose of the dropper after use. 

To achieve the best outcomes, follow the recommended usage of Refresh Plus, especially when using it following eye surgery. 

Cease usage and consult a doctor if you encounter eye pain, alterations in vision, persistent redness, or irritation lasting more than 72 hours, or if the condition worsens.

Tell your doctor if any of the listed common side effects continue or intensify. 

Serious Side Effects 

• Severe burning, stinging, or eye irritation after applying the medication 
• Eye pain 
• Alterations in vision 

Stop using Refresh Plus and contact your doctor immediately if any of the listed severe side effects arise. 

Allergic Reactions 

Seek immediate medical assistance if you experience symptoms of an allergic response to Refresh Plus, such as: 

• Hives 
• Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat 
• Breathing difficulties

Cautions 

Seek advice from your doctor before using Refresh Plus to assess its suitability, particularly if you:

• Are using other medications, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, supplements, and herbal products 
• Are pregnant 
• Are breastfeeding  

Following the application of Refresh Plus, your vision may temporarily blur. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or engaging in activities that demand clear vision until you can do so safely.
