Drug Description

Indications

Sanctura is a prescribed medication used to treat overactive bladder (OAB), a condition characterized by uncontrollable contractions of the bladder muscles leading to frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and lack of urinary control.

As a muscarinic antagonist, Sanctura functions by inducing relaxation in the bladder muscles, thereby enhancing the ability to manage urination.

Uses and Dosage

Before starting treatment with Sanctura and with each prescription refill, carefully review its medication guide and patient information leaflet. Should any inquiries arise, do not hesitate to consult your doctor or pharmacist.

The dosage of Sanctura may vary per individual based on age, medical condition, and response to the treatment.

Typically, this medication is taken twice a day, as prescribed by the doctor, either on an empty stomach or 1 hour prior to meals.

For optimal results, take Sanctura exactly as directed at around the same time(s) each day. Do not alter the prescribed dosage and frequency of intake without consulting your doctor.

Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens.
