Sensipar is a medication that effectively reduces the levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, and phosphorus in the body.  

Its primary therapeutic indication is for the treatment of hyperparathyroidism, a condition characterized by the overactive functioning of the parathyroid glands in patients undergoing long-term dialysis for kidney disease.  

Sensipar is utilized in the management of hypercalcemia, a medical condition manifested by abnormally high levels of calcium in the blood, in individuals diagnosed with parathyroid gland cancer or overactive parathyroid glands that are not amenable to surgical intervention. 

Uses and Dosage
